We are an independent mental health advocacy service based in Edinburgh in Scotland. We provide advocacy to individuals who are experiencing or have experienced mental ill health and who live in the community in Edinburgh. This means we support people to be heard to have a greater say in decisions made about their lives and their care and treatment.

AdvoCard’s Mission Statement states:

AdvoCard is an Edinburgh-wide advocacy project for adults who have experience of mental ill health. We provide a free, independent and confidential service which supports people in getting their voices heard.

Our long-term aim is to work towards a community where each individual's needs are met and where people have greater influence over the services they use.
