Join our Advisory Group
AdvoCard has always aimed to ensure that the views of those who have used its services are at the heart of the way it has been run and developed.
We have started an Advisory Group to give you a new way to be involved.
-
If you take part in the AdvoCard Advisory group:
- You will be able to tell us what you think is working well at AdvoCard and what you think we could do better
- You can make suggestions about doing things in a different way
- You can help us come up with new ideas for projects and services, fundraising and raising awareness about what we do
- We may come to you with questions or ideas to get your feedback
- You can be trained to sit on our recruitment panels so you have a say in making sure we employ the right people
-
About the Advisory Group meetings:
- You will be able to take part either face to face or online – this is called a ‘hybrid meeting’.
- Meetings will be held monthly
- It helps if you are able to attend regularly, but it’s okay if you’re not able to make every meeting or need to take a break.
If you are interested in joining the AdvoCard Advisory Group, please email us.
If you don’t think the Advisory Group’s right for you but want to give us feedback on the advocacy service you received, and tell us what worked well or where we can improve, please click here.
From time to time we also run specific projects or consultations. Please keep checking the news section of our website, or sign up to our newsletter.
