How is your housing situation affecting your mental health?

New deadline: Monday 7th November

We would like to hear from you about how your housing situation is affecting your mental health, and if there are any changes which could improve life for people in Edinburgh with lived experience of mental health issues.

You can tell us about applying for housing, housing conditions, or any other housing issues.

This survey is for anyone in Edinburgh with lived experience of mental health issues, you don’t need to have a diagnosis. It doesn’t matter what your situation is, whether you are homeless, in temporary accommodation, in social housing, private rental housing, own your own home or in any other housing – if you feel that your housing situation is affecting your mental health, you can tell us about it.

We will use what you tell us to raise awareness of the issues and push for change. We will publish a report which will be available on our website. We may quote from your response, but we will not include any information which could identify you.

Please complete this by end of day, Monday 7th November.

If you have any questions, if you would like a copy of the survey sent by email or in the post, or if you would like to fill in the survey over the phone, please contact Becky – becky@advocard.org.uk 0131 554 5307

You can find out more information about AdvoCard Collective Advocacy and our Edinburgh Community Voices meetings here.

You don’t have to answer every question. If you think that writing about your experience may be distressing, please consider if you have the necessary support in place before you do so. Please remember to click the Submit button at the bottom when you are finished.
